The Foray by Joost Egelie

This is a digital copy of the first album I ever released. It originates from 1991. Internet wasn't a thing back then. I recorded it with a hifi stereo, and used various quirks and hacks to get to this tape. An Arp Avatar got killed in the process, and shortly after this release I took a 15 year break from music making.

I made an edition of five copies of that tape, of which I still have two. These two tapes are up for sale as well, in the merch section.

Remember, this is antique music. The sound quality is as honest as it can get - digitised off tape after 28 (!) years of storage. Johan Geens did perform a cleaning and a minor mastering on the tracks, as to be sure your ears will not hurt too much.
