Jenn Champion carved her place onto burned CDs as a founding member of Carissa’s Weird. As “S” she used counterpoint guitars and 4-track vocals to create a soundtrack for our depression. Her 2014 Cool Choices and the 2018 follow-up Single Rider showcased her pop prowess. The Last Night of Sadness is a culmination of her skills presented to us as synth-wrapped grief.
