The first time I went to school
I wasn't really sure what to do
So I followed my heart
and kicked my teacher right in his face
Now, I'm not really sure why
I guess I just wanted to see what would happen if I
took my little foot and kicked my teacher
right in his face

I guess that's why you can't let little boys go to school.
They'll kick their teachers right in their faces cuz there's nothin' else to do.
That is, I mean, if all little boys are just like I was.
And I don't mean to be exclusive because there's no reason a little girl wouldn't kick her teacher, too.

When I got to the first grade
My teacher looked at me, and said "Dave
you have to be sure never to kick another teach' in the face."
I said "You've made a big mistake
My name is Jeremy, Mr. Blake"
and I proceeded to kick Mr. Blake right in his stupid face.

I guess that's why you should never call me Dave.
Because if you do the consequences will be rather grave.
Other people since him have made the same mistake.
I don't know why everyone seems to think my name is Dave when it's obviously not!
