Human Hair by Jeremy Hall with Flora Knight

From the first time I sat at Flora's kitchen table and spent some quality time with some beer and a guitar, I knew there was a special feeling that I was unlikely to capture again. Though the meanings aren't as cut and dry as they might seem, a lot got worked out through these songs, and at the very least they capture a time in my life where I learned about how precious friends can be.

These are unvarnished, barely practiced, and usually recorded under the influence. There's flubs and wobbliness, and it's the sound of a top-notch hang. There's good times to come, but there'll never be this hang, at this spot, at this time in our lives.

Don't bother asking what the songs are about. You can ask Flora what the album title's about.
