Crazy Jayne from Short Stories by Jessica Rhaye
This song is completely fictional. I was inspired to write something dark after reading the book "Drowning Ruth" by Christina Schwartz. The melody, first verse & the chorus came to me the night I finished reading the book. During the preproduction stage of the recording, I brought the unfinished version to my producer & together we finished writing the song. CrazyJayne is a tragic story about a young girl who can’t live with herself after being sexually assaulted. I think the dark production really captures the essence of Crazy Jayne.
