Wild Flowers from Short Stories by Jessica Rhaye

I wrote this song one evening in the kitchen of my city apartment after taking a trip into the country with a friend of mine. On this particular day I was feeling creative so I brought along my paints, pastels & sketchbooks. We drove until we came to a beautiful field & stopped so I could paint the landscape. When I looked up from my painting I could see my friend in the
field picking a bouquet of wild flowers. The song is about getting away from the every day, often crowded, city life to enjoy some peace & quite in the country.
