Dark Flow from Elsewhere by Jesus on the Moon
This instrumental is named after a strange phenomenon that scientists have observed: The universe seems to be “flowing,” like a river, toward some strange, unknown point, driven by forces we don't understand. The idea of dark flow reminds me that we are not in control, that the universe doesn't hinge on our wishes or desires, that we're just one little piece of atomic effluvia floating around in some unimportant corner of this huge, majestic, incomprehensible universe.

Jesus on the Moon is a collection of lo-fi songs I've been recording in basements, garages, and bedrooms since 2005. Recently, Derek Reed joined the ranks and, with the help of a drum machine, we've started to bring the songs to the stage.
