'Better' was composed in 2006 and features a short but interesting history. Written as a heartfelt illustration of anorexia and the incredibly sad but dangerously charismatic viewpoint of pro-ana, the song was originally a love song but grew quickly into an anthem of grief and hope. The crux of the song, and its inspiration, came from that look in the eyes of someone you love, telling you they're better off when they're not eating. To capture that feeling, is to capture the essence of 'Better'. Performed with Flowers For Lily and Love Hate Rebellion live, on radio, on video and on tour, the song has undergone more than one transformation, appearing on CDs, in magazines and on international radio. This version of 'Better' was the first, recorded in a bedroom in the winter of 2008.
