De Wolkendragers by Joachim Badenhorst and Peter Holvoet-Hanssen
This album is a musical reimagination of 'De Wolkendragers' by Peter Holvoet-Hanssen.
Joachim Badenhorst composed music on a selection of 11 poems Peter Holvoet-Hanssen's latest bundle 'De wolkendragers'.
Most of the poems are read by Peter Holvoet-Hanssen himself, with the exception of two tracks where Joachim sing/reads the poems of Holvoet-Hanssen.
One Badenhorst original and two instrumental songs comprise the album.
Similar in approach to Badenhorst's recent album 'Kyoto', he combines the audio diary element of field recordings with electronic instruments.
This album has the addition of Badenhorst's Clarinet and Bass Clarinet playing on a majority of the tracks.
‘Wolkendrager’ is dedicated to Frederik Vanclooster.
