The Harvest by John Henry's Hammer

This is the first collection of songs by Seán Eckmann, recording under the name of John Henry's Hammer. It is comprised of three original songs and one cover, recorded in scattered sessions taking place in his bedroom and the music department at Seton Hall University.

Seán is a 20-year-old songwriter from New Jersey who plays guitar, ukulele, and mandolin, at tries his best to play most other instruments. His main influences on this EP are Bob Dylan, Allo Darlin, and an array of country and indie rock acts.

John Henry's Hammer is the solo project of Seán Eckmann, a singer-songwriter from New Jersey. It is the result of a combination of influence from the 1960s, contemporary indie rock, and acoustic singer-songwriters.
