"Girl" or as it was originally called "Finally, Joshua Jesty is making a record with a short title, and the title of the record is "Girl"" was written and recorded over a 2 and a half year period from 2007 till 2009 By Joshua Jesty, who had a lot of assistance from many great friends. This record chronicles the idea of "loss is gain" and musically starts with the idea of loss and slowly but surely works its way to the idea of gain by the end. Jeff Giles at Popdose.com hailed "girl" as "the best release from an unsigned artist I’ve heard all year."
