in 2006 ish. this is exploding set out to make there most ambitious record yet. However, since they spent their whole existence mocking robots, technology bit them in the ass and erased everything they recorded. Save for three songs that they finished mixing for the record

one day in early 2013 joshua stumbled upon a poorly labeled disc that contained the band running through rehearsals of almost all of the songs that were set to be on the second record. While the edges are rough on some of these recordings, it's as close as we'll have to a 2nd this is exploding record.

this record compiles the 3 songs that were saved from the sessions that were erased as well as 5 songs taken from the in studio rehearsals and finally 1 live recording taken from one of their last shows which is the best representation of a song that we'd otherwise lose completely as it was written late in the recording process.

I hope you enjoy discovering these songs as much as I enjoyed rediscovering them.
