Impromptu Sailing by Joy Fu
Life is an impromptu sailing. Love is an impromptu sailing. We disorient and re-orient; we dive into the water or fly to the seashore. In this album, I explore themes of loss, freedom, love, and redemption. The album encompasses all the music genres I've explored in the past two years: singer-songwriter songs like 12:28, silenced, and 99 million; cinematic tunes like coming around, end of a movie, and re-sail; as well as more experimental compositions like anchor, coffee cage, and face à face.
