Simian Heights by Jo Goodey

This tune was originally built a few years ago when I was playing around with some Ethiopian scales and remembering trekking through the Simian mountains. It was initially a Jah Youth dubplate and has become a favourite tune with sounds such as Ital Power.

With all the death and destruction in Gaza over the past year, I have wanted to do something, however small, as an effort to contribute to the support and rebuilding of a decimated population and country.

So, all the proceeds from this release will go directly to the Amos Trust's Gaza Appeal. They are a charity who do a lot of work in Gaza and the occupied West Bank providing emergency aid, supporting rehabilitation through medical and psychological support and helping Palestinian journalists, athletes and many others in the occupied territories get their stories out to the wider world.
