Sweet Rain by Julie Hanney

Sweet Rain is a gentle rainfall of notes and emotions. Drifting somewhere between melancholy and a sense of hope, this song evokes focus, remembrance and relaxation. This piece was born late at night during an improvisation session. I played the main theme of the piece and immediately sensed something transcendent in it. I hope you enjoy it and it brings you a moment of calm, clarity and hope.

Pianist/composer Julie Hanney has been playing piano and composing music since she was a young child. Her composition style is peaceful, innovative and eclectic. Her playing is expressive and fluid. Her mission is to create the music she wishes was in the world.
