"CULTURE CYCLE is the sophomore (but not sophomoric) release by ハリウッドの食料品, available through Junk Maker Sounds. This release follows the blueprint set by debut Midnight Shopping (via Gulf Audio Company) in presenting distorted mallsoft music that sounds not only as if it’s being played through decrepit speakers but as if the air itself is old and stale.
