Stranded by Kahleo

The mixtape is called, Stranded. Stranded, has two key central meanings. First off, Stranded refers to my mind set as an artist. I feel, in our society today people are putting drugs, alcohol, unsafe sex, and materialistic things on a pedestal. However, I am called the controversial and weird one for not supporting these ideals, when we are taught, (in the first place), that they are not respectful things to follow. The mixtape strives to illustrate the power of passion, uniqueness, finding self completion, and being stranded with your morals. Also, Stranded, refers to myself being stranded on an Island. The Island represents my dream for music. At first, I wake up on the island scared, powerless, and doubtful on what's to come. However, by the end of the mixtape I thrive on the island and I concur my dreams as an artist.

Even if you don’t want to give me the chance, give the other producers, artists, and musicians a chance. There is over 8 producers, 8 artists, and 2 musicians on the project. They kick ass and I was so fortunate to have them put their heart into the songs that they contributed to.

The Mixtape is free. Yes, free. I will be posting singles off Stranded on Soundcloud every two weeks. But, if you want to listen to the whole mixtape in its entirety I will be happy to send you a PHYSICAL copy of the CD and or you can listen to it on my website.
