Sacred Mountain by Kamarius
This musical project was started a few years ago and it was intended a bit different at that time. After the hearing of David Parson’s passing in February 2025 I decided to dedicate an album to his memory because he was one of the main artists which inspired me to begin my journey in music as Kamarius and to make this type of music I am making for quite some years now.
Some of the tracks on this album are more similar to his style while others are made with my own flavor and are exploring some other paths than what I’ve explored in my previous albums.
The ethnic and world-fusion sounds are at the core of the album, and the transcendental theme is not so pronounced as I firstly intended, but I am very happy with the way it unfolded and with the states this album evokes. And, of course, this album also has the enigmatic spices which are an ingredient in my music and which are evocative for the worlds I am trying to express and to convey and which I intend to take my listeners into with my music.
