Born and raised in the Canadian prairies, Karl has been based in Paris, France for over twenty years. He explores the notion of duality in all its forms in this, his seventh album to date. Earthy grooves underline ethereal melodies which feature the warm and cristalline voice of Cynthia Abraham. Acoustic and electric sounds weave together performed by several of France's most in-demand musicians (Tony Paeleman, Christophe Panzani and Pierre Perchaud). Energetic and meditative the two faces of Karl's music live in harmony, inspired by the past while moving forward into a constantly evolving sonorous landscape.
