basic lofi bleak soulless relentlessness not designed to be loved - when someone does something like this it's usually a sign that something must change - and i feel like the end of this year might see my retirement - I don't want to do the same thing over and over again (too much like a job) and I don't want to "experiment" and try to keep things varied and "interesting" (too much like a job) - it might just be time to retire to my sofa and read Schopenhauer till the books drop lifefully from my lifeless fingers trying to believe that happiness is in the small things or almost the nothings, but it's all just luck and its absences - I could defend this album by saying that it's in/from the same mood as Cluster's bleak beautiful underrated Curiosum and maybe this is what it's like to have been there.
