There’s this butterfly that keeps flying by me
I wanna love him, wanna catch him, take him home to my family
This butterfly, beautiful shapes and designs
Elusive and fantastic, wanna reach out and grab him
Make a home with him instead of flying free

But the more I swing my net, the more he plays and evades
The more he ghosts and flits away
I don’t wanna pin him down, if I sit really quiet,
Convince him I won’t bite, maybe he’ll come land on my knee
