Witness a world mourning
Witnessing tombs be erected without names

Witness everything go transcendental black
Witness suffering
Witnessing wrath

Woe unto thee and every whisper gone unheard
Into awaiting ears of those who only heard the lies
When they speak they speak but only in maledictions

An urge to cease is suffocating
For reason is treason to belief
A self fulfilling prophecy
For nothing has cometh but the end
For all the strains of the sacrifice
Hubris pushed to the edge of madness

And all of that glory is nothing without pain

A Golgotha within me
Is pulsating with demand

Marble idols replaced by the common man
Blood oaths swallowed by antiquity
Every hour a knife falls on the throats of lambs
Another tongue cut out to silence hostility
Bodies coiling midst the blaze
In obscene forms of Ouroboros
A quest for the circle in reverie
A pause in squandered time
