After the break-up of Venus Peter in 1994, Masato Ishida, Donnakayasushi and Yutaka Koga from VP were joined by Yoko Satori, who had worked with Ishida in Penny Arcade, and Ooflton Souta on drums, to form a project to finish Ishida's unreleased songs. After a number of member changes, the current line-up consists of Ishida, Donaka, Satori, Yoko Ito (drums, ex-soul mission, 333 discs) and Mikihiko Nomoto (bass). Circuit, released on clover records in 2003, is co-produced by Nobuyuki Ohashi (ex-bridge / pate) and has its roots in post-punk and new wave, with a UK/US sound that is anything but straight-forward, and a strong, fragile sound reminiscent of Opal's Kendra Smith. The band's strong, fragile and dry vocals are reminiscent of Opal's Kendra Smith. A unique world of trans-atlantic freedom despite being in Japan.
