Sander Stuer is a Brussels based artist and multi-instrumentalist who has been writing and performing atmospheric songs as GILMAN for over a decade. Quality over quantity, he has been taking his time as well as a skilled ear for arrangement to craft a handful of delicate, soul soothing tracks while also being the drummer for his friends at Sleepers' Reign.
Adopting the KILOSECOND ethos, Gilman took inspiration from the birth of his nephew to compose a ksec piece as a present and tribute to his newformed existence. The resulting material ‘Rust - Rots’ is his maiden voyage into more ambient work, an endearing soundtrack for a blooming child while also bestowing some words of encouragement to the boy he’ll be watching over for years to come: don’t overthink it.
