Guinevere from The Watchers by Kindred Spirit Band

This song was inspired by a dream told me by friend Hema Pullen. Aware of my marital problems, Hema dreamt, one night, that she saw me descending the stone steps of a tower, crying. When I reached the bottom she gave me a box & told me that when the time was right I would use what was held inside. I decided to write a song which led up to & followed on from that moment. The song is filled with meanings; for example I am supposed to be Guinevere & the magic mirror, through which I view the world reflects my inability to face the reality of my situation. The dragons represent problems which need to be overcome and the box holds the light of truth. The piece starts simply with just myself , guitar & harp and gradually builds up to a really rocky number. I see this number as my answer to Led Zeppelin's "Stairway To Heaven".
