Wild Ponies by The Coastal Cohorts
One year, we gathered up another whole herd of coastal songs, Wild Ponies, starting the recording in early January in a hotel room at the Grove Park Inn, Asheville, where we had just played King Mackerel as part of the "Best of Our State" program. We finished them up over a Carolina spring break, in a hillside Cajun cottage livingroom in Bingham Township, Orange County, N.C.
