unintended consequences by COUNT ZERO

This EP by Count Zero marks the official debut release by production duo Static Plate and Hey Joe, both based in Berlin. Having crafted their own respective styles throughout numerous live sets, releases and collaborations of their own, the two techno-heads make some of their most daring moves throughout these five tracks.

As a collaborative project between two producers, but most importantly two friends, Count Zero opens explorative possibilities which both artists have clearly taken advantage of. While staying true to the wild pace of hard industrial techno, their sound is textured, drawn out and made for vast mental and physical spaces.

Kollektives Bewusstsein is a Berlin-based record label which grew out of the event-collective of the same name. Although grounded in deep, psychedelic and club-oriented techno, the label brings a colorful palette of different electronic music genres into the world.
