Lauri Wuolio's Kumea Sound is a combination of sensitivity and deep shadows. The acoustic cupolas (handpans) intertwine with experimental electronic layers and guide the listener into strangely dynamic yet meditative mindscapes. Samplers, synthesizers and drum machines bring contrast to the otherworldy sound of the cupola, which reminds of harp, bells and tuned drums.
