Magazine by Lance Blitz
Over twenty tracks of hardcore punk over drum loops with mixes of thrash, pop-punk, and thoughtful melodic lyrics about eschewing dogmatic socio-cultural media propaganda and technocratic economy to forge an authentic path with agency, the core music for the 'Magazine' album was recorded on cassette in summer 2007. Those raw recordings were unearthed and completed with lyrics/vocals in late 2018 and early 2019, resulting in this lo-fi punk rock masterpiece. Recommended for fans of early Damned, early Misfits, early Vandals, and The Germs.
