By this, their debut record, Last Night's Lentils were vastly misunderstood by the music industry. Pot Luck has survived only through bootlegs, one-off pressings and rare collectables. We are proud to finally have all the rights to release this most intriguing album.

L.N.L was comprised of artists from all over Europe including guest appearances from Leon Daniels of Some Kind of Quintet and Ape Morgan of 9/11 Widows and dark comedy sensations Ape & Minstrel, Alexander Marceau and prominent electronic artist Serge Van Velzen.
Yuri Melgmann, Ray Mitchell, Preston Greaves, Henry and Kevin Field were the founding fathers of this powerhouse of art.

"Pot Luck, their first record, left many people confused but did create a big ripple effect, everyone felt it. Big Bucks, their label at the time, expected huge sales, they were primed to be a success. But then something happened.......nothing..... the sales never came. They were dropped by Big Bucks within three months. The record did on the other hand put them into a lot of A & R notebooks, lots of pencil-biting you know the type. Last Night's Lentils have such eye for detail whilst still regarding themselves as fledgling artists, all the while very gingerly yet, competently achieving a great success with this album, perhaps not financially or through popularity, but through establishing base camp on the mountainside of that ever-elusive boundary they were in search of, which in truth rests only inches above their heads."
