Highways by Le Cast

"Highways" marks the long-awaited return of Le Cast, a band known for crafting a unique fusion of electronic sounds and nostalgic atmospheres, true to the "Classic Synthwave" style. Composed of two tracks — “Rearview Mirror” and “It’s Not Too Late” — this EP signifies a new chapter for the band, which, after a period of absence from the music scene, returns with a deeply emotional offering and a profound reflection on the personal and inner journey.

Le Cast always adept at exploring the boundary between retro and contemporary, collaborates on this project with two equally extraordinary artistic entities: Bunny X feat. Jenny Rates (New York) and Oblique (Barcelona). With these two groups, Le Cast creates the perfect synergy, blending their signature style with modern touches and Synthpop influences, resulting in an EP that stands out for its vibrant atmosphere and international flair.

The first track, “Rearview Mirror”, is a melancholic and intimate exploration of the past, an invitation to leave behind an era and look forward. The EP was made in their studio nestled in the hills of the province of Siena, with the magic touch of their friend and brother, Vincenzo Salvia, who took care of the mastering and mixing. The result is an emotional journey completed in two tracks, but which leaves a lasting impact.
