Naarm/Melbourne artist and library worker Lee Hannah releases ‘Cultivate’ - the second track from a collection of small miniature moments compiled in deep lockdown. Cultivate is sourced upon field recordings taken on Darebin Creek which sits underneath a slow, reflective synth composition. It’s the beginning of a new era that sees the artist temporarily moving away from pop music of Market to a more insular and environment-inspired textural experience.
Their new album due out in November 2021.
This work was made on land rightfully owned by the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation. Always was and always will be Aboriginal land.
