Vista from Going Big by Lee Jackson

Not named after the crappy Microsoft OS, "Vista" is used to describe the sweeping landscapes of the American frontier. The work was my first orchestral piece, and was written for a competition that called for "Americana" works less than 6 minutes long. I used techniques similar to those used by American composer Aaron Copland, and in spots one or two of Philip Glass's techniques. I hope you enjoy the end result.
