And its shame when the one place I went to for comfort, the only place that told me I'd be accepted by all. A sanctuary for the outcasted and the black sheep of every family overrun with elitists who look down on you for not conforming to their ideologies and speaking against their atrocities. Instead of a community of love and acceptance supported by the common love of music. I'm enveloped in a toxic abyss full of humans willing to betray anyone they address as their so-called friends. I still dream of a place where everyone from every color, race, and background can come together in unity and feel like they belong among others who love them for who they are.
