Greatest Hits by LIPGLO$$
An entry point into oblivion.
With over 30 albums put out in a span of less than 4 years, the Lipglo$$ discography is a bit intimidating to get into, Sounds ranging from Noise-Rock Diva-House, to chopped and screwed alt-country, to whatever the fuck 'Satan in Reline", make it clear there is no right way to get into this shit. Until now.
Based on personal selections by Lipglo$$, these are relatively accessible for such an experimental project. Not to say that these tracks are easily boxed in. Even with a clean 12 song sweep of the hundreds of tracks released, you would be hard pressed to call any of this one genre.
'CO Water' sounds like Elliot Smith drowning under a sheet of Trap Bass ice. 'Her's is the Voice I Hear' is a fitting tribute to its' House Goddess namesake before skittering into uncanny valley territory. None of these tracks sound at all alike but they are cohesive in an impressive way considering how much time and space passed between their creation.
As a whole, this is the purest Greatest Hits collection that an unknown, experimental legend could put out. R.I.P. Lipglo$$, no one did it better.
