I never made it to the Grand Canyon
I was somewhere outside Sedona
You picked me up in a pick up truck
The summer was almost over
We followed the cedars far up the hill
We lay right on the ground
If I couldn’t see the beauty then

Turquoise and tiger’s eye

Like the high desert sun
