River by Owl & Swan

Abandoning dense urban environments for the screaming silence of a stilted house along the Illinois river, two birdmen find new sonic landscapes with pulsing machines choked in pastoral malfunction. Equal parts electronic meditation and digressive drum tumble, the songs are crammed through a chorus of deep-fried amplifiers and piped into the bug-choked haze of a summer night. The songs melt one into another in a miasma of circuit-bent psychedelia.

This is the first collaborative outing for Gran Mal’s Alex (Owl) Brooks and Nightmare Frontier’s Sean (Swan) Victory.
