A staff of power shall we make,
Ere we, the ‘dangered journey take,
The runes shall guide me on my way,
They keep both dark and storm at bay,
With wisdom and strength to hold the helm,
And steer us safe from realm to realm.

I set out and shut my door,
To heed adventure’s call once more
My sword and shield, armor and pack,
Both promise and prayer, that I’ll come back
Brothers in arms come join the trip
As we head to glory upon our ship.
