Blinded by greed
By the end it was all he could see
When he finally found

He looked at himself and didn’t recognize a thing
A pile of bones wearing tattered cloak
A misty green hue had become his shadow
Whoever he met would only greet him
With a scream
To the world he proclaimed,

A monster enshrouded by green energy?
If that’s what you want, then that’s what I’ll be!
I finally found my destiny.”
And havoc he wreaked
With the magic he learned
