Hugem from Onebody by Los Doggies
Written in 2006-2007, "Hugem" (pronounded like hue-gem) is a songification of the cult movie "Midnight Madness". The movie depicts an all-night collegiate game featuring a series of clues and puzzles. Analogously, the derived song leads the listener in and out of a pop song game, through time signature twists and turns, embedded subsongs mashed up and mixed down, deep into the very heart of the proggy poppy musical labyrinth.
