Noah's Ghost by Lost Nights

In the autumn of 1988, Matthew Hathaway vanished.

One year later, Noah sits puzzled in Matty's room. His older brother's metal music used to irritate him, but now he finds himself hanging on every note. Some songs soothe him like the memory of Matty's arm on his shoulder; others haunt him like pale specters of a past he took for granted.
