11/11 - Memory Leak
An emotional overload…Internally clashing with your own radicalism..slowly escalating to the breaking point…Until silently, a dormant memory cluster cracks…Followed by layers of senses, shattered like glass… A necessary implosion, for an evolving life-form.
To present the chaos, I placed a loose intro that builds up to an odd-time signature riff, and then drop it all to a bass/drums break for the lead to start more systematically. Dropped to B/7-string along with double-bass drums make some riffs really sound crushingly heavy! For a closing album track, I didn’t go conventional with a mellow off-set, and rather preferred a heavy and energetic one to parallel the opening.
Looking back, each track just fit the concept I had in mind for Timeless Truths..Such an exhilarating experience for me personally, which it’s always challenging to approximate what’s envisioned and what eventually become reality.
I hope you enjoyed the album as much as the effort and fun I invested in it!!
