1/11 - Silver Bullet
The opening song of Timeless Truth is about possessing an unbreakable force, a solid, rich constellation of relentless power with a purpose vector, and yet a groovy confidence. An unremitting combination that just..can not stay mute and has to -screamingly- present 'itself' and demand way into its direction.
The musical structure in my mind was to create a robust opener, straight forward rock rhythm, melodic verses that can still go with a swingy rhythm sections (if you attend to the pre-chorus guitars). Additionally, to go with the swing/groove, a wah-wah and whammy for the main theme would create a twist. Finally, I wanted a middle-section break to let the song breathe while the lead guitar/solo can clearly and boldly vocalize itself. It really manifested what I visualized for it to become.
