Ambush by Luca Monteforte

We’re back with our first release of the year - and a club-oriented one after quite some time - by Amsterdam-based artist Luca Monteforte.

Half-Italian, Half-Motswana and raised in Mozambique, Luca Monteforte’s sound emerges from a tableau of cultural contrasts. Working with shimmering textures and complex percussion, his club-focused sound culminated in a release on 39 Records. Ambush marks a turn toward a darker, more experimental approach, stripping back melody in place of a weighty, percussive core.

This 3-track EP showcases a blend of his club influences with Ambush and Secret Tunnel, while Graveyard Shift offers a glimpse into his softer side.
