Factory by Lucid Den
Lucid Den's first 2021 single "Factory" is a no-frills synthpop song about the long commutes to work, low wages, and industrial pollution experienced by the people of Monterrey. Inspired by the band's own personal experiences and Polygon Kid's leave, "Factory" dissects regio society with effortless irony, the way only globalized Gen Z can do it. Originally written in 2019 and finished in 2021, this non-album, lead-up single is backed with xXx_f4ct0rY_xXx, a brutalist and uncomfortable rework of the song.
