Dream Vacation by Luke's Terrarium

At long last, Dream Vacation, the debut record from Luke's Terrarium, hits the beach on August 1st. 2025.
Written and recorded over nearly a decade, these ten songs have lived alongside Minnesota-born songwriter Luke Faste through many seasons of life. You could almost say Dream Vacation was made on a geologic timescale.
And it was across many time zones, too:
a Chinese metropolis, two Michigan peninsulas, suburban Minnesota, rural west Japan; Lukes' childhood home, a commerce park, break rooms, teachers rooms, Okayama Korakuen garden, a company apartment. To name a few.
Volcanic synths, shimmering guitars, and field recordings hover around these ten songs exploring the connection between the self, the world, and God, all in the context of deep time.
After all of this, Luke felt that keeping them to himself was getting old and conceived Luke's Terrarium as a musical ecosystem where these songs can go on living - and we can visit them whenever we please.
This record is dedicated to Jean Faste and Jane Hohertz.
Will you swim with us at the cosmic shore? I hope to God you brought a towel.
