Then, the diaries started, whispered notes on power struggles—between parents, between partners, even with those smart devices now rocking our kids to sleep.

The album, really, charts a struggle. It starts with those claustrophobic music-box trills and that raw, aching postpartum despair, especially on tracks like "Pacifier Oath" where promises feel fragile, or "Milk-Blue Static" with its quiet, freezing loneliness. You hear us navigate the inherited weight in "Knight Wind-Up," trying to make sense of old rules. Then, slowly, things shift.
