Sleep from Perplexity by Luminary Media

This piece is about sleep. I’ve created the piece to attempt to imitate what laying in bed and falling asleep is like. What I’ve noticed while laying in bed trying to sleep is that it is never completely silent. There will always be sound like the chirping of the crickets, the cars speeding by near the house, the buzzing and humming of a machine in the house, and the random creaking of the house. With all that in mind, I’ve recorded the sound of myself getting into bed and falling into sleep and then added the sounds of what I’ve experienced while trying to fall asleep.
