Wintertime from Perplexity by Luminary Media

This work was created from the song “Summertime” by Renee Olstead. I sought to combine that song with my experience in a park in Taiwan and the sounds that I was hearing which were the sounds coming from the insects called Cicadas. What I’ve noticed with the Cicadas were that they were noisy, although they were loud all the time, they weren’t chirping randomly. They would make their noise, in cycles, in unison, and it would create a blanket of sound that would fill up the whole space like a concert.
