LEGENDS by Luvjonez

"LEGENDS" includes 22 tracks of instrumentals and beat snippets that use a healthy mix of jazzy samples, ambient chords, and a subtle dose of throwback drums and downtempo vibes. The album is an ode to the idea of how we all create our own stories and try to preserve the best version of self for future generations to look back on. For this album, I wanted to create a batch of sounds to inspire new stories, confessional verses, and the "by any means necessary" anthems that we all have buried in our minds.

Try picturing DJ Premier and Three Six Mafia hanging out in the studio together, while trying to write a lofi hip hop track for James Blake to build on. Rare gospel samples, field recordings, spacey synths, dirty drums, VHS interview clips, and mellow chords mixed into an oddball stew for the quiet moments in your day.
